Since then she has continued to study and practise Iyengar yoga with several senior teachers in the UK, with Corine and Faeq Biria in France and several study visits at the Ramamani Iyengar Institute in Pune with The Iynegar family in India.
She is a J3 qualified Iyengar yoga teacher. She continues to further her practice and study of yoga always drawing inspiration from her teachers and her students.
Toni teaches with warmth and enthusiasm. She is informative and supportive, and respects each individual’s unique abilities, working in stages towards the classical poses in order to build a strong foundation.
Through attention to the subtleties of the postures, Toni’s classes nurture a clear mental focus, confidence and poise, as well as physical strength and flexibility.
The sessions work the whole body in a series of poses – including standing, sitting, prone, inversions and forward extensions. Each class ends with a period of relaxation in which the practitioner focuses on their breathing and absorbs the work that he/she has put in.
”Words cannot convey the value of yoga – it has to be experienced.”, BKS
